THESES FOR THE FINAL ORAL EXAM

Dear students,

Here are the theses for your final oral exam.  Remember that you need to work in pairs.



THESIS 1
You are going to Berlin on business in a couple of weeks. You know your partner did some business there a while ago. Telephone your partner and ask him/her information about his/her trip using the prompts below.

THESIS 2
You are at a conference dinner in a hotel. Your partner is someone sitting next to you. You have not been properly introduced. You will need to:
- introduce yourself
- ask your partner what he/she thinks of the conference and the dinner
- ask your partner about his/her work (e.g. company and job)
- ask your partner about the conference location (e.g. the city, weather, shopping, sightseeing etc.)
- finish the conversation

THESIS 3
You want to change arrangements you made with Mr Li. You were arriving in Shenyang in China on Monday but you have to change the plan. You also need a hotel and a projector and screen for a presentation you are going to make.
