  1. Hi class,

I think all strategies are effective but in my opinion the most effective to start the conversation is with say " hello" and tell the other person your name and offer your hand to shake. Because with this conversation tricks, you will feel comfortable using.
Often the hardest part is just approaching the person and saying "hello". But this conversation strategy is a good way to introduce yourself and break the ice.

I think tha the main idea is to make fell the other person importan

  3. Hello Everybody,

I think that the most effective strategy to start a conversation with a person that you have never seen before is when you can offer a compliment about something, but only if it is sincere and no too personal.
In the specific case of woman, we always feel great when someone tell us that we are looking gorgeous with a t-shirt, dress, scarf, etc. I already did it, and worked perfect.

    Have a beautiful day,

  4. Good morning everybody,

I think the most effective strategy according with the article is the second. Look around and see if there is something unusual to point out. It allows starting a conversation with someone you do not know. This strategy avoids misinterpretation because you will talk about things around you. I mean, people feel more confident if they talk about something known. In conclusion this strategy is the most useful of the article.

  5. Good afternoon class,

In my opinion, I think is better to use the second trick because when you meet someone, you need to start a conversation with a interesting point like the architecture; maybe the weather if there is something unusual in it -like a storm, too much sun; or things about your city. If we apply this strategy, people should feel more confident and they will want to continue with the conversation.

Hello .About the Strategies to start a conversation, I think the best is the second strategy, talk about something that are around us could be a good idea because for this form the conversation could be more natural and spontaneous and the other person could feel more relaxed if we are talking about something known. Well if I need to start a conversation the most possible is that I apply the second strategy.

  8. Hello,

In my opinion the strategy most effective is to look around and see if there is anything unusual to point out. It is good idea for people because this permits to start a conversation with someone unknow and creating an environment of trust between them.
By other hand, when talking about something around, people can express their opinions because they know the topic, about that the other person is talking at the time.

  10. Good afternoon,

This article is good because it gives us strategies to start a conversation with another person. Tells we have to be smart and show confidence to the other person. Article discusses the steps you have to follow: 1. Start with a greeting such as "hello", 2. Talk about anything around us for example climate, 3. Do not talk about personal things, 4. Talking about things like did you like the presentation?, 5. Show interest in what the other person is talking for example follow-up questions and finally 6. For good conversation with the other person have to look into her eyes you can smile sometimes but not much.

    Greetings

  11. Good evening class,

I think the best strategy is the second. Because to start a conversation with a person. You need to talk about an interesting topic for attention. You can talk about anything unusual for example: A storm, way too hot, or something special of the place, etc. This will help capture the attention of the other person and this way can engage in conversation and gain confidence.

  12. Hi, Hello
The best for me is to listen, showing interest and offer interesting opinions. Using this option has a risk. The risk is that you say intrusive. On the contrary it is a very good way to start a conversation. The theme allows to know the other person better and decide whether to approach or not. A bad question or a bad opinion is important to continue the conversation. To say a good opinion is very important to give attention to the topic of conversation.

  13. Hi classmates

My personal opinion about the article is that I consider very important to make friends, because we live in a globalized world and we need to relate to others.
When starting a conversation we should be very cautious because all people are different.
Personally when I for the first time with someone, I'm very friendly, spontaneous, sincere, and try to analyze and observe the person to start a pleasant friendship..

    Thanks

  14. Hello all of you!
About the article, in my opinion the best strategy is the second one who suggest to talk about something that is around us, this could be a good idea because it would be a very natural way to make the other person feel relaxed and to involve it into the topic because we would be talking about something known. I’ve already used this one and it result very well for me.

The most important strategies to start a conversation are number 3: Because if the other people have an special personality, you can offer an opinion about an specific thing and create a relaxing environment and start to talk with this person, also you can show more interest in the other person and learn about their preferences, and number 5, because to start a conversation you never most try to show very active only be careful and talk about the things in general.

  16. Hello---

I prefer start a conversation asking questions about the place because in this way I can know how is a person and if the person frequently go to this place. But if you start to do many question to this person you maybe go to bore, so is necessary do the corrects question and give a correct information about you.

Then you can start a conversation and do a new friend.

  17. Hello everybody.
I think that the strategy most effective to start a conversation is with ask questions about anything unusual that which are happening in that moment, it depend of the situation in which we are. If we are in some conference or meeting we can ask something about any aspect of that situation. By the other hand, if we are in the street or waiting for the bus we should start a conversation talking about the weather. The topic to talk about depends of the situation.

  18. Hi Class

In my opnion staff about the article I find interesting ways to meet people, as all can be given in different occasions, it is good to give importance to the person you ask we know avoiding issues related to politics, economy, salary among others, and start with common themes such as climate, favorite authors, among others, especially it seems very important to hear what the other person says and not just ourselves to speak.

    1. Hi classmates.

Humans need communication to solve problems, to build organizations, to do activities, etc. People of the organization should overthrow walls and fears to establish communication with the rest of the people; by the other hand the rest of the people in organization should give them confidence, you can do it with a "hello", a compliment, or establish a conversation about something you consider important for your coworker.

You can do it all of these but you have to be careful.

  20. Hello,

I think all of strategies are effective to start a conversation. This will depend on the person and the circumstances. But I think a good strategy is to ask questions that make the other person feel interesting, because people like to talk about their views and give opinions, especially they like to be heard and taken into account. However, these questions should not be too personal, people may feel uncomfortable.
