THE BEST CHARACTERISTIC OF A LEADER

In your opinion, what's the best characteristic of a leader and why?  Write 120 words.

  1. A person with a great charisma tends to be a leader; and a leader needs to have many qualities; in my opinion being the best is the most important one.
    For me this quality includes everything, we must be persistent with what we really want and give our best to achieve our objective; there will be many obstacles in the path of a leader, but we must overcome them and have the courage to always go ahead. Our attitude is our best company, that is why we should be and feel like we are the best.
    Since I was little I heard my mother's phrase:'' Be what you want to be, but always be the best'', now I understand the significance of this.

  2. A good leader must have excellent interpersonal skills.
    A title is not a guarantee that a person is a good leader; the lead is demonstrated by the actions with his employees. People also think that to be a good leader must be frightening for employees and impose things, but it is not true. A true leader trusts in others, can give the employees the responsibility for making decisions, says the things with respect and esteem when someone makes a mistake and knows how to help people when they need
    Finally, I think that a good leader has the ability to lead himself, learn to give and receive feedback from others.

  3. "Humility is the fundamental pillar for achieve success." A good leader can have many qualities within themselves, can practice them, and you can share them, but you can also lose them if their behavior is arrogant and haughty, which is why I consider that the main characteristic of a leader must be humility, and this way demonstrating its leadership search to guide his followers in the right direction by working together, without any discrimination, or feelings of superiority, turning to leadership in a simple game where everyone is fighting for power, losing the conception of the common good and the interests that really motivate a true leader. "Humility is not only a characteristic to be leader; humility is the way of life of a leader."

  5. The best characteristic of a leader
    Leader is tolerant and respectful of the opinions from others. Tolerance and respect are very important in group work because not everyone will have the same point of view on a specific topic is there where the leader must make to respect the views of each and give them importance that is required, also all have not the same attitudes and ways of acting, for this reason people are never going to be thinking the same thing and is there where the leader acts for arrive at a consensus.
    In conclusion, the leader must have these qualities for achieving greater commitment, motivation and empowerment by their followers, as well as his personal recognition.

    I think one of the main characteristics of a leader is communication so you can express your ideas and people understand.
    He must know how to handle their feelings to understand people.
    Set goals that can fulfill them.

  7. Perseverance and initiative: for being a leader is essential to know to do the thing in the better way, it is strive for reaching the planned goals, but at the same time we have to learn of the mistakes.
    It is very important to improve every time more and more. A good leader is one that invests his time and his resources in the things bases in the excellence. Always is attentive to whatever detail and he searchs effectives solutions in the development of his functions.
    Therefore, a leader has to be proactive, a leader has to be in constant innovation and adapt to the changes of a organization. Because of doing the things in a good way, we can guarantee good results.

  8. Be a good leader is important to you and the others, specially, in a company to create a good company culture, where their staff can improve their performance.

    In my opinion, the best characteristic of a leader is to be humble, it includes thinking that all people is important, specially the people you lead. If your staff is in an environment where all the employees feel important, they will probably do their activities better. To be humble will help you to gain the trust of people and be an example to others.

    In conclusion, if you want to be a good leader, you should be very humble, because in this way you could achieve the objectives of the group you lead.

  9. People in the organization seek excellence and the leader must have the ability to lead. I think the main characteristic that a leader must have is vocation, because if a leader knows how to attract people and guides the team they can walk away. If a team is not a unified group, Companies are not efficient. Leader must have the ability to listen and this way can communicate with your team. When people see that their boss can lead, the team has a clear vision and attainable goals. We all have the ability to be leaders, but first we must convince who we are capable of doing and in conclusion the people who are successful are the ones who are passionate at what they do.

  10. Many are the characteristics that define a good leader, however, some are more significant than others, hence the importance of knowing the basics or essentials and implement them.
    From my point of view, the best characteristic that a leader should possess is to have good capacity to communicate, so the leader must have the ability to express in clear, precise and coherent way the ideas, thoughts and feelings, and so do that the people who lead, hear and understand, and also the leader must know how to listen, understand and consider the ideas of them.
    In conclusion I believe that communication is the basis for a good understanding and effective leadership.

  11. Nowadays anybody can be a leader. You don’t need have a business or an important role in a company. If you would like to lead others you have to lead yourself first. A leader has a lot of characteristics but the best one is to do the right thing, always because a leader has to give the example and enforce rules. All People have made mistakes and deserve a second chance but a good leader does a feedback and trains the people who lead, creating an environmental where people can grow and prosper. In conclusion a leader has to lead by example and do right thing to influence positively in others and achieve the best results.

    A leader born or made. We all wonder by this comment and we question that characteristic should be a leader.
    I think a leader, it can be any person to actually propose it will be, this leader could acquire the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed, through time and experiences that occur every day.
    A leader must be: Humble, not to believe more than others. Patient, do not you should create commotion. Honest, always it must be transparent and make things clear. Firm, be sure to meet your goals and objectives. Organized, classify and appropriately prioritize projects to meet. Understandable, appreciate the effort of each person and their ideas.
    A leader this always in front of a group, defending his proposal and ideals.

  13. The world is full of a lot of people who have characteristic to be a leader, such as a leader has to be patient and tolerant in every moment and with every person. Also, a leader has to have a positive attitude to face any problem or situation because it will be easier to find a solution or idea; above all a leader has to know to listen to people so he or she will earn the trust of people. Finally, a leader has to work in team because it achieves the goal proposed. These characteristics improve with time and preparation.   14. Leaders are in charge of their groups and the way they follow; but they always need to keep some special characteristics so they can be consider as the head of the group. First of all, you should be guide not a tyrant, you most show empathy with your group, put yourself in your partners shoes and then talk, you might find some interesting things when you do this. Be the support of your group, when they need someone to talk to or they feel disoriented they need someone to show them the road. Be wise, strength is not on how strong or fast you are, it is when you know what to do and when to do it. Be the best and show how to be it to your group.

  15. A leader first of all it´s a person and there´s no magic pills or instrument to become a leader. There are some facts than can help this person to impact in other people and that´s where I think one of the most important characteristic in a leader is being authentic. The reason for my comment it´s because people can note easily when somebody it´s being force to be a leader or in other case people never follow to a leader who is a leader by a tittle. The leader who´s authentic will have a lot of followers and those follower will be excellent helpers to achieve the leadear´s and group goals. In conclusion please leaders be authetic always and don´t force yourself into somebody you aren´t.

    A leader must have good communication to manage groups, to define goals and ways to achieve them, knowing guide people, their training guide, guide their actions, work under pressure, be innovative. Each of these characteristics is important in order to become a great leader because a person who wants to be a leader must be able to guide people, be an example and guide them to achieve their goals, and the leader teaches how things should be done not holds the secret to success, empowering people permanently for people to do things effectively.   17. Being a good leader is not an easy task. It is a result of many different skills that a person has and also, tries to cultivate. For me, the best characteristic of a good leader is enthusiasm. When a person is enthusiastic, gives her/his best always. He/she is consistent in all the objectives that tries to reach. And also, has the vision to make innovative things and dream big. Enthusiasm is the key of the success in any area of our lives. It allows us to believe in something else and work toward it.   18. Serving the people you lead is a very important feature that every leader must have. This implies that a leader must couple to work and the form to act of the other people is leading, because this way you can lead all to the same objectives, personal and organizational. also should help everyone who is leading a similar pace will. Also this should do things to for them to be a guide for others. Collaboration to meet all activities should be an objective of the leader because this way all participate and feel part of the organization, so they will work to better support each other, because the leader should not do the work of but must teach others as they must do.

  19. A leader is a person who has a vision, a drive and a commitment to achieve that vision, and the skills to make it happen. He or she must have some skills: Effective communication: it's more than just being able to speak and write. A leader's communication must move people to work toward the goal the leader has chosen.
    Motivation: a leader has to be able to motivate everyone to contribute. A leader knows how to push the right buttons on everyone to make them really want to do their best to achieve the leader's goal.
    Planning: the leader has a plan to achieve the goal. He/she doesn't get too bogged down in the details, that is what managers are for, but rather uses a high level plan to keep everyone moving together toward the goal.

A leader… is a big person and the best characteristics that define good leader are: empathy (take the place of another), consistency (between what we say and do), honest, direction (take a good decision in benefit of he and the others), communication, flexibility and conviction.
